Key Responsibilities

1. Must possess good leadership and communication skills.
2. Should be acquainted with cement plant maintenance practices for equipment such as Crusher, VRM, Kiln, Cement Ball Mill, and Packing Plant.
3. Should have experience in maintaining major assemblies of equipment such as VRM Roller, Classifier shafts, Kiln alignment, Machine alignment, Girth gear and pinion alignment, etc.
4. Should have knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining compressors and bag filters.
5. Should be familiar with troubleshooting and maintaining belt conveyors, bucket elevators.
6. Should be familiar with selection of welding electrodes and welding techniques.
7. Should be well-acquainted with lubricant selection and lubrication scheduling.
8. Should be familiar with selection of bearings and their applications.
9. Should have knowledge of fits and tolerances.
10. Should have basic knowledge of engineering metallurgy.
11. Should have hands-on experience in shutdown/major maintenance planning and execution.
12. Should be well familiar with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, NDT techniques.
13. Should be acquainted with all Health, Safety, and Environment procedures and legal requirements.
14. Should have good knowledge of ISO Management System/ERP packages.
15. Should have exposure to project planning and execution.
16. Should have good knowledge of spare part planning and cost management.
17. Candidate must have an excellent track record, positive attitude, and a tendency to learn and adapt.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in the Cement Industry is mandatory.
