Key Responsibilities:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Activity

Ensure that food commodities are handled as per food handling standards and policies at both Extended Delivery Points and Final Distribution Points
Ensure excellent performance for all GFD, SFP, and Kitchen garden interventions for the Nduta camp
Develop a food distribution plan and ensure that it is shared with relevant stakeholders timely
Ensure that the right entitlement is provided to beneficiaries
Ensure effective networking with key stakeholders as well as proper attendance to camp meetings /forums accordingly
Compile quality periodical reports and share timely
Ensure proper management of organization resources assigned to camp activities
Provide supportive supervision to food handling staff

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience

Three years experience in working with humanitarian operations,
Experience in a managerial position
Experience in handling commodities management
Experience in handling staff issues
Training in commodities management, response training, human resources management, and management.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

Degree in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
Master Qualification is the added advantage

Physical Requirements

Should be physically fit

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Language Requirements

Fluent in both Swahili and English language
