Work Hours: 7:00AM ~ 4:00PM

Type of Contract: Fixed time

Duration: One Year (2023. 10. 1 ~ 2024. 9. 30)

Job Purpose:

Support the Official Development Assistance program to Tanzanian Government especially
through the concessional loans from Korean Government fund (EDCF) for the infrastructure
projects in Tanzania

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with national and local level government agencies, development partners, and
  other stakeholders
• Provide key inputs in developing new projects and programs
• Assist with the appraisal, implementation, monitoring and closure of projects
• Especially assist with Procurement (Selection of consultants/Contractors) and
  Disbursement process
• Preparing project briefings on all projects for the stakeholder portfolio reviews
• Participate in conferences, workshops and meetings, representing EDCF and Korea
  Eximbank
• Organize meetings, conferences, field visits or special events
• Prepare press releases and contribute to official social media accounts
• Perform independent research and report on political, socio-economic and
  development trends or on other sector of interest
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications required:

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (in development studies/practice, economics, international relations, finance, business administration, engineering or any other relevant field) is required.
• Doctor’s degree or equivalent in related field is preferred.
• Excellent command of English both in writing and speaking
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience in the ODA area would be an advantage
• More than one year of professional experience in development sector, preferably in an international organization or NGO would be advantage
