The People and Culture Business Partner position is responsible for aligning human resources strategies and initiatives with the bank’s overall business objectives. This role takes a strategic and solution-oriented approach to address complex challenges and to promote a positive work culture.
Roles & Responsibilities
Talent Planning and Acquisition
• Develops and executes workforce plans, provides exceptional candidate experience, and builds and maintains a candidate pipeline through vast networking.
• Planning and supervising talent acquisition in close conjunction with the Departmental Heads/Line Managers.
Performance and Talent Management
• Manage the performance management cycle by ensuring that goals and objectives are set on time while optimizing processes, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance and productivity.
• Identifying patterns, trends, and root causes for making recommendation (s) to line managers to improve motivation, increase retention, engagement, and efficiency of employees through employee satisfaction surveys.
• Drive initiatives to proactively build long-term talent pipeline.
Organizational development
• Conduct assessments and evaluations within the organization to identify opportunities for improving the Bank’s performance, culture, and structure.
• Facilitate change management and culture transformation initiatives across the Bank by effectively communicating the need for change. Provide guidance and support to both employees and management during the change process to ensure successful implementation of the changes.
• Analyze data and create reports to identify trends and areas for improvement and offer recommendations to management based on your findings.
Learning and Development
• Supports Line Managers in identifying Training needs for respective business units and ensure implementation of training framework.
• Conducting customized training programmed based on the training need analysis to enhance the manpower skills & efficiency.
• Support designing training programmes to train employees to a skilled level.
• Supports Line Managers in identifying Training needs for respective business units and ensure implementation of training framework.

Employee Relations and Drive Strong employee engagement
• Ensure good employee relations through effective relations and relationship with all stakeholders, including employees’ representatives.
• Be a change lead, through advising and challenging stakeholders with respect to organizational changes and ensure they have the right methodologies and tools
• Identify ideas to increase motivation and productivity.
• Ensure HR processes within the operating model function effectively as well as making sure HR services are up to date and aligned with the wishes of the business.
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Social Science or any other related field.
• Postgraduate/ HR Certification qualification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience
