Job Description
Role’s Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, develops maintenance programs, troubleshoots repairs, handles emergencies, and maintains materials, all while following safety protocols and company policies.
- Electrical Maintenance: Electrical Installation, Preventive Maintenance Lighting Control System.
- Plumbing: To perform daily plumbing works including installation and fixing broken units in the system and repair and maintenance of facilities.
- Carpentry: Perform routine inspections, identify carpentry-related issues, and carry out repairs as needed.
KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform Maintenance works to avoid possible failures and malfunctions as as per MHL maintenance Standards.
- Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs within the company.
- Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner to meet maintenance SOP’s requirements.
- Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them to ensure the operations will not stack at any point.
- Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed.
- Handle emergency maintenances and repair works at Legendary Serengeti Camps when occurs.
- Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses.
- Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities including filling of job cards as per company maintenance SOP’s.
- Maintain work area cleanliness, safety and organized to ensure the MHL standard of maintenance services
- Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents and damage of the company equipment’s.
- Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
- Provide assistance to co-workers when needed as assigned by the camp supervisor time to time
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Attend job training and safety programs organized by maintenance department at Arusha base Office when required.
