We are seeking an energetic responsible Tracking Officer to join our team, responsible for handling the Long haul truck tracking and controlling the Drivers for our logistics company. The ideal candidate will have a  background in logistics, Driver handling exposure, Knowledge of the Insurance process, road transportation rules and system knowledge. With a mind set  to develop the Logistics business to make our fleets to give maximum utilization and make the Business profitable.

The Tracking Officer will be responsible for the Individual truck wise revenue generation and the growth of the Logistics business with profitable margin.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and placement of trucks for Both EAF and External transport customers on time at the right location.
• Truck scheduling for the trip –

a) Each LH truck scheduling to be planned and executed. b) Maximizing each truck usage time. c) No “idling” hours for each truck other than scheduled. (Driver rest hours & Scheduled halting) d) Monitoring of Loading & Unloading time and escalate it and release the trucks if it is held up abnormally e) Do the billing if it is beyond the agreed norm and collect the demurrage.

• GPS enabled Long – Haul truck tracking & Transit Time adherence & Taking action.
• Willing to work 24*7, and monitor the fleet movements and bring in High level efficiency in the system using the Tracking team.
• Long-haul Truck Driver Deviation Management.
• (a) Speed limit monitoring, b) Night Halt deviation c) Route Deviation d) Transit Time adherence and e) Abnormal halting enroute
• Manage Long Haul  driver related – a) Traffic fines b) Route Deviation control
• Coordination with the Insurance agency & Insurance renewal & Claims and Latra payments on time.
• Coordinating with the external customer and getting their week schedule and doing the truck planning. To make sure the truck is available and meet the customer demand.
• Long haul truck hiring from the market and meet the company requirement within the Budget cost.
• Coordinating with the Finance and following the process for the payment to the Hiring truck on time.
• Achieve the Transport Revenue Target and the Gross margin as per the Budget.
• Achieve the Transport related KPI assigned and meet out the same with the timeline.
• Able to handle all Truck related Insurance, Latra and other statutory payments. Insurance claim recovery in case of accidents.
• Coordinating with the Police and related authorities in collecting the required documents on time.
• To maintain all internal records with respect to the Transport business on line and the report submission as per the guidelines.
