Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture waybills key information into the CTS system timely
Collect field data on a daily basis
Participate in periodic Physical Inventory
Participate in reports generation
Collect data relating to standards compliance at EDP and FDP
Attend meetings/Forums at the camp level as assigned by Supervisor
END RESULTS
Critical data captured into CTS timely
Field Data collected accordingly
Physical Inventory is undertaken precisely
Quality reports compiled and submitted
Compliance data collected and shared
Meetings attended
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
Three years experience in working with humanitarian operations,
Experience in reporting and ICT
Experience in working for commodities programs
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Training in commodities management, response training, information management, and ICT
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Degree in Accountant, Procurement, Education, Information Communication, and Technology, master’s degree is an added advantage
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Refugee camps
Physical Requirements
Should be physically fit
Language Requirements
Fluent in both Swahili and English languages
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
WFP Field staff -They are always on the ground to participate into PI
UNHCR Field Staff – To resolve challenges associated with beneficiaries’ registration
DRC – For child protection issues associated with food services
Refugee community leaders – Information dissemination to the communities at large
EDP staff – Periodical PI and reconciliations
DECISION MAKING
The role needs regular discussion-making guided by set principles
