Position Summary
Ifakara seeks a qualified candidate to fill the Field Interviewer position. This individual will work within study antenatal care clinics and assist study nurses to collect data on mothers and infants enrolled in the Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation for Maternal Anemia in Pregnancy – “MMS-MAP” study.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct home visits for participants who miss their scheduled clinic appointments.
Conduct delivery and newborn assessment for health facility and home births as well as conducting verbal autopsies.
Responsible for research-related activities at the clinic from recruitment to patient discharge.
Academic Qualification
Certificate of secondary school education (FORM IV/VI) with computer training.
Holding a basic certificate in nursing or any other field, and experience working on a clinical trial will be an added advantage.
Professional Experience

1-2 years working experience.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to use laptop for data collection for MMS-MAP study.
Ability to work under minimum supervision but also within a team.
Good/Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to details.
