Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst will focus on analyzing business-related aspects and trends in Tanzania, providing valuable insights for the Economists Talk Magazine.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze business data, market trends, and economic policies affecting businesses in Tanzania.
2. Collaborate with economists and analysts to integrate business perspectives into economic analyses.
3. Conduct interviews and research to gather information from business leaders and experts.
4. Prepare reports and articles on business-related topics for the magazine.
5. Stay informed about local and international business developments.

Personal Specifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of two years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
3. Strong analytical and research skills.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
